Zhang
Yiyuan tea shop, the name of which derived from an old Chinese
saying “everything takes on a new look with the coming of
spring”, is one of Beijing’s most famous time-honoured
enterprises founded in the 26th year of Guangxu Emperor, Qing Dynasty (1900 A.D.).
The
trademark of Zhang Yiyuan was officially registered in 1984.
In 1992, Beijing Zhang Yiyuan Tea Company was founded. The
company has been persisting in the spirit of “honesty
oriented” and the business principles of “quality as life,
good credit standing, unique management characteristics, and
first-class service” since its foundation. In 1994, it
established its own manufacturing base in Fujian province----Mindong
Zhang Yiyuan Tea Co., Ltd., which was awarded as “Green

fragrance, sweet taste and lingering aftertaste”, which make
it very popular in domestic and overseas market.
The
interior Quality Supervision office was set up by the company

strictly monitored by the National Bureau of Quality and
Technical Supervision since 1995. Moreover, the company has
passed the authentication in ISO9002 and ISO9001 International
Quality System Certification in 1999 and 2003, respectively,
which make the management of the company effectively. Because
of the top-class quality of its products, the company was
successively awarded as “Beijing Famous Brand”, “Beijing
Famous Brand Products” and “Model Store in the National
Campaign of No Fake Goods” issued by the State Economic and
Trade Commission and other five commissions jointly. Zhang
Yiyuan Company is one of the 31 major distribution firms in
Beijing and took the lead in passing Market Access (A) Level
Certification of Food Quality Safety among tea production and
sub package enterprises, and HACCP Food Safety Management
System (ISO/DIS 22000). What’s more, “Zhang Yiyuan” was
identified as one of the most well-known Chinese trademarks by
the Trademark Office, State Administration for Industry and
Commerce.

张一元茶庄是京城著名的老字号，始建于清光绪二十六年（1900年），店名取自“一元复始，万象更新”之意。
